At a recent meeting of Cork County Council’s Western Division, the County Engineer confirmed, after questions were raised by councillors, that any work to rectify the the disgusting sewage overflow in Shannonvale park is not considered to be a high priority. This admission comes despite Cllr. John O’Sullivan (Fine Gael) highlighting the fact that this sewage leaks into the drinking water supply for Clonakilty.
